However, it has been confirmed that Nikki Bella is part of the cast for the eagerly awaited sequel, Happy Gilmore 2. In anticipation of its release, the former Total Bellas star shared insights about her collaboration with lead actor Adam Sandler and offered glimpses into the film's storyline.

A Perfect Timing for Happy Gilmore 2

During a conversation on the Nikki and Brie Show podcast with her twin sister, Brie Bella, Nikki expressed that working on Happy Gilmore 2 was the most enjoyable set she has ever been part of. Filming took place in the fall of 2024, a time when she recognized the healing power of laughter amidst life's challenges. She praised Sandler for creating a welcoming atmosphere on set.

“Happy Gilmore 2—I will say the greatest set I’ve ever been on and like so needed at the time of my life. I filmed it in the fall, and it did make me believe that when they say laughter is the best medicine, it truly is,” Nikki Bella remarked.

“Here I’m on set and Adam Sandler obviously is running the show and couldn’t be more incredible—he is like—and what I loved is there was a lot of us that it was like a first-time, like big feature film. He made you feel so comfortable.”

Nikki further noted how Sandler's egalitarian approach contributed to his success as a film star. The filming experience was filled with joy and laughter, and she believes this sequel surpasses the original.

Trailer Release and Cast Highlights

Netflix unveiled a trailer for Happy Gilmore 2 during its Tudum event in early June, marking the first public acknowledgment of Nikki Bella's role in the film. The movie features three professional wrestlers, including MJF, who plays one of Happy's sons, Gordie. Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch make an appearance together alongside Adam Sandler at the 1:43 mark of the trailer.
